Raytec Announce Night-Time CCTV Test Nights
CCTV Lighting specialist Raytec are hosting a range of night-time tests to look at the performance of CCTV lighting in situation. The test sessions will be held at various locations and are open to all CCTV installers, specifiers and camera manufacturers wanting to test the performance of a CCTV system with Infra-Red or White-light.
The test evening will be a practical test of CCTV lighting with different camera and lens combinations. The test agenda will be tailored to incorporate the cameras, lenses and lighting combinations requested by the attendees.
Shaun Cutler of Raytec says, “These test nights are an opportunity for the industry to test CCTV equipment at night using CCTV lighting to improve image quality. Installers can use the tests to trial their next installation, consultants can check the integration of different components and camera manufacturers can check the image quality their cameras will provide alongside Raytec’s high performance Adaptive Illumination™ lighting products”.
This year’s tests will include a 30min presentation on the ‘Art of CCTV Lighting’ plus a practical focus on switching from costly high energy ‘White-Light’ illumination to low energy LED solutions. Full support material will be provided along with practical tools including an ‘energy saving’ calculator.
