COVID-19: Important Information for Our Customers

As we continue to monitor the situation with the COVID-19 outbreak, we want to assure our customers that Raytec are taking measures to ensure our people are protected, while continuing to provide the highest possible level of support to our customers.

How We’re Dealing With It

We have made several adjustments to ensure the safety and well-being of our team members, customers, and society. This is our top priority.

Our factory is still open for business, and while we are operating with reduced numbers, we continue to receive, build, and ship new orders.

We are closely following UK government guidelines and encouraging our staff to work from home where possible, as well as restricting travel and face to face meetings. While doing this, we have measures in place, such as the use of video conferencing, to ensure we can provide support and assistance to our customers remotely. We are confident that this adjustment will be a smooth one.  

How This Affects You

Contacting Us – with fewer staff on site, and more people working remotely, we want to give you guidance on the best way to contact us.

  • For new customers – our usual lines of communication are still open, and you can reach us by phone or email (contact details here).
  • For existing customers – where possible, please reach out to us by contacting your main points of contact directly, either by email or by using their mobile or direct dial phone numbers.

Video Meetings – given the current restrictions, we are offering video calls and 1-2-1 meetings to all of our customers. Whether this be for sales support, technical support, or other general queries, our team are happy to help in any way we can. Please get in touch if this is something you would like to arrange.

Lead Times & New Orders – our goal is to minimise disruption to our customers and keep the majority of products on a relatively normal lead time. To do this we would encourage all customers to order standard products where possible. This will help to streamline our processes, and speed up our delivery. However, please bear in mind that there could still be some delays as a result of the current situation.  

Above all, safety of our team, and everyone connected to Raytec, is our top priority. We will continue to follow the guidelines set out by the UK government to ensure our people are protected, while ensuring we have measures in place to provide the best possible support to our customers.
